How the Calculation Works
The calculator compares today's date (at midnight local time) with your chosen target date (also at midnight). The difference in milliseconds is divided by 86,400,000 (the number of milliseconds in a day) and rounded to give whole days. Weeks are derived by dividing the day total by 7.
