In the west Indian state of Gujarat, the government has implemented the initiative of building Solar Panel just above the water canal which thereby solves two problems: prevention of millions of litres of water every year from getting evaporated and generation of solar electricity without obtaining agricultural or other lands. This great idea is praised by many as solves two problems with one solution.
